I put a decent amount on my sponge cleaned both legs (5’0 tall) by the time i got to my arms and stomach ALL the soap was gone. I find myself constantly reapplying more of the body wash. i was trying this over shea moisture bar soap but i will be going back to shea moisture. this body wash was a wste of money.
I've used Nivea lotions many times over many years. I purchased my first body wash and the largest bottle, thinking I would be very pleased. It acts more like a lotion as it doesn't suds much at all. I used it while shaving my legs with a new razor. My leg had multiple nicks as it didn't allow the razor to glide over my skin. As I stated, it seemed more like lotion than body wash. Very disappointed.
I'm particular about body washes and this is a product I will purchase again. It leaves my middle-aged skin soft after showering and not feeling 'stripped'. I perspire a lot in and easily, and did feel my skin is gets clean using this product despite it not lathering and being a moisturizing body wash. The complaints about it not lathering is a personal preference and does not affect the effectiveness of this product. My only request would be to remove the fragrance, make a fragrance-free option, or make the fragrance completely 'natural' and non-chemical formulation; this is one reason for the 4 stars rating. Also, it is difficult to get out of the bottle. Maybe a larger hole would assist, or a pump dispense option would be easier to use; however, this issue would not prevent me from not purchasing again. Nivea take note: if someone had less than average hand strength or coordination due to normal aging or health issues (that's a lot of customers!), it would be very difficult to dispense the product from the bottle, this is the second reason for a 4 star rating. I do appreciate that even with the high moisturizing benefit, the shower floor does not get slippery other than with 'typical' body washes. It's a relief to not HAVE to apply lotion after showering due to the product being moisturizing.
