Handbag Musts
As you make the rounds on the holiday party circuit, keep your mood and spirits light by ditching your heavy, everyday handbag and swapping it for a tiny, feminine evening clutch stocked with just the essentials. These five items are all you need to look and feel confident at your next soirée:
Blotting papers. Use blotting papers instead of toting around a heavy powder compact. Swipe a sheet over your forehead, nose, and chin to take down any shine.
Breath mints. Trying to converse over a blaring rendition of “Jingle Bells” may force you to go from using your indoor voice to shouting in your office crush’s ear. You’ll be glad you brought along a pack of powerful mints.
Champagne eye shadow. For a subtly gilded look, use your finger to lightly sweep this shimmery shade onto your eyelids and cheekbones.
NIVEA Crème. This rich, creamy moisturizer is just the thing to keep your hands soft. If you’re wearing a cocktail dress, rub the cream into your elbows and knees (the two areas most prone to showing dryness).
