Romantic New Year's at Home
New Year’s Eve is always a bittersweet holiday. On the one hand, you want to go out and celebrate with the masses – there is something great about counting down the final seconds of a year with a big group of people. But, if you’re with a loved one sometimes it is just as good to spend it with them, alone. With a few creative ideas you can have the energy of a New Year’s celebration with a big group or just with your loved one. Here’s how to make it a New Year’s at home one to remember.
First, turn on the television but mute the sound, and put on some of your favorite music, we prefer Duffy. You will get to watch the action on TV but can focus on something a bit more romantic, like trying out the best way to kiss your loved one at midnight.
Next, it’s time to set up a “love nest” – a perfect way to mimic the NIVEA Lip Care Kiss and Be Kissed platform in Times Square. Put a twist on New Year’s by gathering all the pillows you have and create a cozy nook to set yourselves down. Have a nice meal ready, with a picnic basket and hunker down for the evening.
